Most prime banks have their own private blockchains which are mostly built by blockchain builder contractors.  Private blockchain is not decentralized but still under central control. Banks prefer private blockchain because many classified documents need privacy. Banks with private blockchains need to tokenize clients' assets into Tokens(NFT) in order to collateralize them for financing or investment in Exchanges because blockchain only recognizes tokens (NFT).
