You have to consider two following points
First, you dont expect listing of pi coin to trading companies. Because pi core team is wise person. And they suggested pi fest and globally alot of store attended also they are a small volume of merchants. If after listing of pi and fructuating 1,000 $ secondly up to down maybe they will be bankruptcy.

Second, the point of success of pi project is stable and sustainable price. That is the key of point.
Perfectly after matured period of pi price and then existing bank will adept and pi coin to exchange by nearby your place.

Additionally you also consider newbie pioneer with present mining rate. If pi price is very low and new pioneer they mine pi with low price?
We need 100 million or more of pioneer to increase value more

If this price will be stable and same value forever with base mining rate, i will agree this price.
But do you think they expect 1pi value will be 314$ forever?

Just now 60 million of pioneer they are engaging of pi, but without GCV campaign, do you think 60 million could be reached ?
And trading companies, they anounce they are exchanging market but really ? Between bull market and bear market, suddenly 10%- to be more percentage up to down. further more sometime 1000 $ up to down secondly. Do you think this is normally exchange market?
