In your opinion, what is the reason for PiCoreteam's Prohibitions



I can give 3 main reasons, in increasing persuasiveness as follows:



1. To avoid purchasing and manipulating Pi, like manipulation of other coins: This reason seems reasonable at first glance; However, after the Mainnet was closed for nearly 2 years, I realized that people who want to collect Pi can still earn large amounts of Pi through exchanging goods/services, and many other ways without directly Buy and sell Pi with Fiat

=> This reason may no longer be convincing.



2. To ensure Pi's mission - Cryptocurrency for everyday people fueling the world's most comprehensive peer-to-peer economy.

=> That's right, considering Pi as a Cryptocurrency used for the peer-to-peer economy, let's use Pi as a means of exchanging goods/services, why do we have to convert it to Fiat?

Some of you think that if you don't set a price for Pi, how can you know what level is suitable for exchanging goods and services? In fact, whether you list the product price in Fiat, or give a valuation for Pi, the buyer will always have to check the product price in many different ways to compare before exchange => So, Sellers only need to list the product's price by Pi; Buyers will check for themselves whether the price is suitable or not before exchanging. That's the way to not violate PCT regulations.



3. To avoid Legal issues with the SEC and other Regulatory Agencies; Avoid being considered SECURITIES (This reason may be the most convincing.
