A study claims that 99.5% of crypto investors didn't pay taxes by 2022

 

 Swedish crypto tax company  Divly has published a new report estimating that only 0.53% of crypto investors globally pay taxes on their crypto by 2022; however, tax experts have questioned the metrics and methodology.

 

 Published on April 5, the Divly report made the estimate after analyzing the relationship between the number of people declaring cryptocurrencies on their tax returns and the search volume for related keywords. Cryptocurrency taxes in different countries. It is also used in its calculation of the number of cryptocurrency holders in each country  according to the Statista Global Cryptocurrency Report.

 

 The report estimates that   Finland has the highest percentage of crypto investors who have paid their crypto mandatory taxes in 2022, at 4.09%, closely followed by Australia, in level 3.65%.
